I know joining a new class can bring up lots of little questions. Here are some quick answers to help you feel at ease
Our sessions are held at Rising Moon Studio, a beautiful space just outside of Sherwood Park, only three minutes from the city, but it feels like a retreat. The studio has soaring high ceilings, a cozy fireplace for cold winter nights, and an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. There’s plenty of free parking, and the setting makes it the perfect place to let go, relax, and recharge away from the busyness of daily life.
Each class is designed to build gently on the last, so I highly encourage signing up for the full series to get the most benefit and consistency. However, if you’re not ready to commit, drop-ins are welcome as long as there’s space available.
Absolutely not. These classes are created for anyone who wants something gentle and supportive — it’s not about pushing yourself or “keeping up.” If you’ve never done yoga before, this is a beautiful way to begin. At the same time, in classes like Somatic Vinyasa and Pause Practice, I offer variations for those with more experience so you can explore a little more challenge if you’d like. Everyone is welcome, and everything is invitational.
Life happens! If something comes up and you can’t make your usual class, you’re welcome to attend one of the other classes that week, as long as there’s space available. I do encourage you to come to your regular class whenever possible so you get the full benefit of the series and the supportive circle that forms within it.
