I’m Laura Harvey, a long-time yoga and mindfulness teacher with a background in nervous system restoration and holistic wellness. My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that real strength begins with softness.

Start your day in a sanctuary of calm. Rise & Restore is a restorative yoga class designed to bring ease, stillness, and renewal into your morning. Held at the beautiful Rising Moon Studio, with sunlight streaming in and nature all around, this class offers a truly special space to slow down, breathe deeply, and gently prepare for the day ahead.

With the support of props and soothing postures, you’ll release tension, reset your nervous system, and step into the rest of your day feeling centered, restored, and renewed.

I’m so excited to bring Beyond the Bend to Edmonton for the very first time. Morning Stillness is a gentle Hatha-based yoga class created to help you begin your day with balance, ease, and calm presence.

About the Space

We’ll gather at the Center for Spiritual Living Edmonton, a truly special setting with soaring high ceilings, colorful stained-glass windows, and even a labyrinth built into the floor. It’s a space filled with light, beauty, and an uplifting energy that naturally invites stillness and reflection.

Somatic Vinyasa - Monday Evenings

This isn’t about doing more. It’s about noticing more.


No pressure. No pretzels.

Just movement that feels good in a real body on a real day.
We move slow. We breathe deep. We actually pay attention to how things feel. This class blends breath-led movement with somatic awareness, so you can build strength without bulldozing your nervous system. Expect mindful flow, grounded movement, and maybe a few deep sighs of relief.


No yoga experience needed. No need to touch your toes.

Just bring yourself—and maybe a water bottle, because we’re still moving (we’re just being nice about it).

This 75-minute class is your permission slip to slow all the way down. We’ll settle into long-held, fully supported poses (think: cozy blankets, bolsters, and no effort required), paired with gentle breathwork to help your nervous system exhale.

Held at Rising Moon Studio in Sherwood Park, the space itself feels like an exhale: peaceful, beautiful, and totally welcoming.
