I’m Laura Harvey, a long-time yoga and mindfulness teacher with a background in nervous system restoration and holistic wellness. My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that real strength begins with softness.

Start your day in a sanctuary of calm. Rise & Restore is a restorative yoga class designed to bring ease, stillness, and renewal into your morning. Held at the beautiful Rising Moon Studio, with sunlight streaming in and nature all around, this class offers a truly special space to slow down, breathe deeply, and gently prepare for the day ahead.
With the support of props and soothing postures, you’ll release tension, reset your nervous system, and step into the rest of your day feeling centered, restored, and renewed.



Restorative Yoga for Nervous System Recovery
Tuesdays | 6:00 – 7:15 PM
January 13 - March 31, 2026 (12-week session)
Come Melt
This 75-minute class is your permission slip to slow all the way down. We’ll settle into long-held, fully supported poses (think: cozy blankets, bolsters, and no effort required), paired with gentle breathwork to help your nervous system exhale.
Held at Rising Moon Studio in Sherwood Park, the space itself feels like an exhale: peaceful, beautiful, and totally welcoming.
No flexibility required. Pajamas welcome.
Gentle Hatha for Presence & Calm
Tuesdays | 10:00 – 11:15 AM
January 14 - April 1, 2026 (12-week session)
This gentle Hatha class is an invitation to start your day with balance, ease, and a deep sense of calm.
Designed to help your nervous system relax, we move through soft, intentional postures that invite stillness and reflection. Now gathering in the warmth of Rising Moon Studio, this practice offers a mid-week sanctuary where you can pause, breathe, and find your center before the world asks for your attention.
No rush. No pressure. Just a quiet space to come home to yourself.

What’s Included:
12 Weeks of In-Person Classes in our cozy studio by the fire.
Flexible Attendance: Life happens. If you can’t make your regular time, you are welcome to join any class on the schedule via Livestream that week. Prefer to make it up in person? You are welcome to join another studio class if space allows - please just send a quick note to confirm your spot beforehand.
Your Own Reserved Spot: Your registration secures your mat in your specific weekly class for the full season. No need to sign up each week; that space is yours.
Travel Light: The studio is fully stocked with bolsters, blankets, and blocks for your comfort. All you need to bring is your yoga mat, a water bottle, and comfortable layers.

You will be tuned in live with the studio class, so you still feel the energy of the room and the rhythm of the practice, without leaving your living room.
12 Weeks of Livestream Access to your chosen class time.
Real-Time Connection: Unlike a pre-recorded video, we are live together. You are part of the circle, breathing in rhythm with the group, held in the same container as the students in the room.
Weekly Themes & Reflections: You receive the same weekly focus, journaling prompts, and insights as the studio students, so your practice goes deeper than just physical movement.
Flexible Online Attendance: If you miss your regular time, you are welcome to hop into any other Livestream class within the 12 week session.
